Seventy six-year-old Billee Jeane Murphy is facing cancer for the third time, but decided she wants to live her life to the fullest.
"They say I've only got a few months to live but I know who the ultimate one is who says the ultimate," Murphy said pointing to the sky. "So whenever He's ready for me, I'm ready."
Murphy's terminal brain cancer isn't stopping her from wanting to have a little fun, though. Saturday she strapped on a helmet and jumped in the side car of a 1947 vintage Russian motorcycle.
"I wanted to have something exciting to do! I mean cancer tried to get me three other times and I said, 'no more, that's it man.' God's got work for me to do and I'm gonna do it!" Murphy said.
"She is the most unconditional person I have ever met," said Murphy's son, Sean. "So she deserves it."
The whole idea came about when family members asked Murphy what was on her bucket list.
"I said, 'well, let me see. Well, I would love to ride a Harley. Yes I would!" Murphy said.
"Life is very full of surprises and we had no idea this woman had that on her bucket list!" said Murphy's daughter, Kim.
"Yes! That's what I want to do! Woohoo woohoo woohoo!" Murphy said excitedly.
Complete strangers heard about Murphy's wish and stepped forward to help make it happen.
A group of motorcyclists rode around with Murphy through Boise, downtown, and around the capital before stopping to get her favorite peppermint ice cream and returning to her health care facility in West Boise.
