Nampa Police have officially charged Alfredo Martinez with the murder of Selena Thomas.
Martinez was being held on a probation violation while police investigated. He's now charged with second degree murder, destroying evidence and failure to report a death. He's being held on $5 million bond.
Police say Martinez admitted to hitting Thomas with a hammer. Her body was found August 21 in a shallow grave in a Melba corn field.
