Ada County Sheriff's Deputies investigate report of burglary, aggravated assault in Eagle
Ada County Sheriff’s deputies are interviewing several people in connection with a report of a burglary from a home in Eagle Wednesday morning that included a threat with a handgun.
The incident started around 8:30 a.m. Wednesday when a man told deputies he went to his home on E. Dunyon Street in Eagle and found a woman he knew walking out of his house with an X-Box.
The man said the woman then got into a pickup truck with two other men and drove away. The resident of the home then got into his car and began following the trio when the pickup stopped. He said the two other men got out of their truck and walked towards his car when one of the men pointed a handgun at him.
The two men then got back into their pickup and drove away, eventually going eastbound on State Street. That’s when the man following the pickup truck called 911.
Garden City Police found the pickup and pulled it over near the W. State Street and N. Confederate Lane intersection.
Ada County Sheriff’s deputies are now interviewing the people in the pickup and the man who reported the burglary.
No arrests had been made as of 9:45 a.m. Wednesday.
