ATV with four occupants slips down 30-foot embankment

On Saturday, an ATV rollover accident occurred in West Dry Creek, about 20 miles northwest of Dubois.

The Clark County Sheriff's Office reported that the subjects were northbound on West Dry Creek Road sitting unrestrained on each other’s laps when the driver got a little too close to the edge of the roadway and the ATV slipped down a 30-foot embankment.

Alcohol is suspected of being a contributing factor in the accident.

The driver, 28-year-old Steven Stathan of Rigby, Idaho, is listed in serious condition.

Of the three passengers, 18-year-old Jessica Klukis of Menan is also listed in serious condition while 25-year-old Kourtnee Holm of Roberts and 23-year-old Riley Pinnock of Rigby are listed in fair condition.

The case is still under investigation by the Clark County Sheriff’s Office.
