Creating a legacy after loss: The Domino Affect

Compassion through one small symbol. A domino. It’s a message coming to light out of a tragedy.
Michelle Wood never expected in one short month to go from her wedding day to being a widow. Just days after getting back from their honeymoon this past July, Michelle’s husband Taylor went boogie boarding on the Boise river. Somehow his legs got tangled in the vines or rocks. He tragically drowned.
As a teenager, Taylor started making necklaces out of domino's and giving them to people as a small token of his friendship. The symbol embodied Taylor’s passion for people. It showed up in his artwork, songwriting and poetry. The woods are now committed to carrying on his compassion for others.
Whether through Taylor’s drawings on a t-shirt or the message attached to each one, the w\Woods believe in the domino affect. Taylor's message of love spreads just as quickly as the image he chose to represent his life through.
Just head to Hannah’s downtown starting at 7 for a night of music and a silent auction in Taylor's honor.
