Teen volunteers needed at the Nampa Public Library

Applications are now being accepted for Summer Reading Volunteers at the Nampa Public Library. Volunteers must be 13 by June 1, or up to 17 years of age, and must attend one volunteer training session.

Teen volunteers staff the Summer Reading Desk from June 1st thru August 3rd and help with Summer Reading activities, including the Kick-Off Carnival on Saturday, June 1st. Volunteers are scheduled for 2-3 hour shifts and register people for the programs, distribute stickers, prizes, and more.

Training sessions are scheduled for Monday, May 13, from 5:30pm to 6pm; Monday, May 20, from 5:30pm to 6pm; and Tuesday, May 21, from 5:30pm to 6pm, and Saturday, May 25, from 9:30 am to 10:00am and 10:30am to 11:00am. There is a limit of 15 people per training session and training attendance is required, so sign up for your preferred date as soon as possible.
