A Brief Break from the Wind!

First Warning Weather:  Thursday will be a transition day for southern Arizona, as one system exits and another one approaches. This will give us a break from the strong winds, as temps warm to the upper 80s. The wind will return Friday and Saturday. A Fire Weather Watch is in affect for a large portion of southern Arizona Friday afternoon and evening. Winds will pick up between 20 and 30 MPH, with gusts in the 40s. High temps will drop from the upper 80s Friday, to the mid 70s for the weekend, with a 20% chance for valley rain Saturday. Mountain snow is also possible Saturday and Saturday night. Mount Lemmon: Less wind and Mostly sunny Thursday. Strong winds, increasing clouds, cooler temps, and a chance for rain and snow over the weekend. Highs near 60 degrees Thursday and Friday, then dropping to the upper 40s Saturday and Sunday.
