Hazy Start, Stormy End

Tucson: Moisture from the gulf pulled quite a bit of moisture and haze into the area early Friday morning. The hazy skies will burn off as the sun heats up, but the moisture will enhance storm chances into the weekend. Mostly sunny skies will turn into a 30 to 40 % chance for afternoon storms Friday, holding onto a 30 to 50% chance for storms again late Saturday afternoon and night. Sunday's storm chances will depend on how much we get Friday and Saturday, but could still be up to 30%. Highs will drop between 99 and 103 degree Friday through Sunday. Mount Lemon: Becoming partly cloudy. Storm chances will range from 40 to 60% Friday through Sunday. Highs will stay in the low to mid 70s, lows in the mid 50s.
