Excessive Heat Wednesday

Tucson:  Clouds will increase to partly cloudy, but no rain expected from Tucson westward. High pressure remains in an infavorable position for storms, but keeps our temps quite high through Thursday. Highs in Tucson will range from 100 to 106 degrees Wednesday. An Excessive Heat Warning has been issued for parts of Maricopa and Pinal counties frrom 10 AM Wednesday until 8 PM Thursday. These areas could see highs between 110 and 115 degrees. Moisture will begin to return Thursday, with the best chances for rain moving into Tucson Friday through Sunday. Mount Lemmon: A slim 10% chance for storms Wednesday, with highs in the upper 70s. Better storm chances for the second half of the week.
