A substitute teacher allegedly put duct tape over at least five students' mouths at Winfield Scott School No. 2 in Elizabeth, N.J. The teacher has since been fired.

According to CBS New York, parent Letisha Coleman said her daughter was in the third grade class last Thursday at Winfield Scott School No. 2 and told her mother that the teacher wanted the children to be quiet and when they wouldn’t, she began duct taping their mouths.

Administrators at the Elizabeth public school reportedly contacted children services and police. The investigation is ongoing at this time.
