Sierra Vista gun store burglarized, suspect arrested
SIERRA VISTA, Ariz. (KGUN9-TV) - Tips from the public in Sierra Vista have led to the arrest of Kyle Easlick, 20, for the robbery of Saguaro Firearms.
Corporal Scott Borgstadt tells KGUN9 that detectives from the Sierra Vista Police Department’s Property Crimes Unit (PCU) and Community Response Team (CRT) working in conjunction with federal agents from the Department of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) and Homeland Security Investigations (ICE) quickly responded to this case following several tips that led them to a residence in the 500 block of South Canyon Drive in Sierra Vista.
Deputies made contact with Easlick who matched the description of the burglary suspect in the store’s video.
During an interview, probable cause was established to arrest Easlick for burglary and trafficking In stolen property.
Borgstadt also tells KGUN9 that deputies are still searching for unaccounted weapons including 15 handguns, 5 assault rifles, and 1 shotgun that went went missing from the Saguaro Firearms located 125 East Fry Boulevard on July 25, at approximately 1:20 a.m.
Anyone with information or who purchased guns yesterday from a private individual is asked to call case detectives at the Sierra Vista Police Station at (520) 452-7500.
