You get an A+... in eating?

You get an A+... in eating?

TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - Here's a new subject kids can get a grade on in school: healthy eating!

A new pilot program at Cornell University is experimenting with giving children report cards on nutrition.

At one school in New York, parents received weekly emails describing what their kids picked at the cafeteria.

Researchers did find that students made healthier choices because of the report cards.

For example, they bought fewer cookies after the information started going out to their parents.

Do you think food report cards sending parents info on their child's eating habits are a good idea?

We want to hear from you!
