TUCSON(KGUN9-TV) - It's the last day of the year and it's also the last football game of the season for the Arizona Wildcats.
The Cats hope to start the year off on a positive note after they take part in the Advocare V100 Bowl.
The game starts at 10:30 a.m. Arizona time in Shreveport, Louisiana.
Arizona will compete against a talented Boston College Team, which finished its season with a 7 and 5 record.
In case you've never heard of the Advocare bowl, it used to be known as the Independence Bowl. It typically features teams from the SEC and ACC. Arizona snuck in with an at-large bid, due largely in part to the Cats upset win over Oregon.
Today's game will feature two of the top running backs in the country. Arizona's Ka'Deem Carey is the Pac-12 offensive player of the year, while Boston College's Andre Williams leads all players this season with more than 2,100 yards rushing.
This will be the first time these two schools have ever played one another, and Las Vegas has Arizona as a seven and half point favorite.
Local fans will be able to watch the game on ESPN either at home or at their favorite watering hole.
Most local restaurants and bars open their doors at 10 a.m.
