TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - As an electrician, Patrick Balbastro brought light to the St. Augustine Cathedral, but he also brought light to so many people in his life.
"My cousin's job was to bring light into the life of everybody," said Patrick's cousin Tina. "It's kinda funny right? But he did."
His family all wore blue, to symbolize his love for the Dodgers.
And the theme of his services summed up in a bible verse: "Greater love has no one than this, that one lay down his life for his friends."
A perfect verse, for a Good Samaritan who died trying to save another.
His family says that's who Patrick was, someone always willing to help.
"He loved everybody. My cousin had the biggest heart."
The family has set up a donation account to help pay the cost of his funeral. If you'd like to help, visit this website.
