TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - Tucson's Apple product addicts are now getting their hands on the new iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C that hits shelves today.
These latest iPhones come with the new IOS-7 operating system.
Other new features include a finger print scanner for security protection and an updated photo application that organizes photos into moments based on when and where they were snapped.
For the first time, the iPhones are coming out in gold and grey, but Apple says the gold model of the 5S is already backordered.
At the AT&T store on Tucson's east side, the first customer in line camped out since 8 p.m. Thursday night when the store closed.
He told 9 On Your Side he is not even buying the new iPhone for himself. He says his boss paid him $100 to hold a place for him in line overnight.
AT&T store employees would not reveal to 9 On Your Side how many of the new iPhones are in stock. Doors there opened at 8 a.m., two hours earlier than normal.
