Tucson police locate missing man with medical condition
Tucson police are asking for the community's help locating an elderly man who went missing early Thursday afternoon.
TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - Tucson police say they located an elderly man who went missing Thursday afternoon.
Sgt. Chris Widmer with the Tucson Police Department says 74-year old Michael Padler was last seen Thursday around 12:00 p.m., at a mental facility in the 3300 block of South 16th Avenue where he lives.
Padler was located early Friday morning near Stone and Broadway. Police retunred him to his residence safe and unharmed.
Police believe Padler left the facility on foot with no identification or money. He suffers from a medical condition for which he requires daily medication, Widmer said.
Padler is a Caucasian man, approximately 5-feet-5-inches tall. He weighs 130 pounds and has grey hair, according to Widmer.
Padler was last seen wearing a red pullover shirt and red sweatpants.
