TUCSON (KGUN9-TV)-- Donald Trump was all business during his recent trip to the nation's capital. The real estate mogul held a groundbreaking outside the 115-year-old building, the old post office on Pennsylvania avenue, between the White House and Capitol Hill. And now Trump plans to turn it into a luxury hotel. It will have 270 guest rooms and suites, restaurants, retail and a 13,000 square- foot ballroom.
The new hotel will be a $200 million project. Trump hopes to have it finished in mid 2016, before the next presidential election. A stay will reportedly cost about $700 a night.
