Suspect assaults man with gun for touching car door
PIMA COUNTY, Ariz. (KGUN9-TV) - Deputies are looking for a suspect in an aggravated assault case that happened at a 7-Eleven last month.
Deputy Tracy Suitt with the Pima County Sheriff's Department tells KGUN9 that deputies responded to the 7-Eleven at 4661 E. Skyline Dr. on September 23.
The victim told deputies he was there getting gas, and when he walked in to pre-pay, someone opened their car door and almost hit him.
To prevent himself from getting hit, he put his hand on the car door. The man inside the car began yelling at him and followed him into the store, cursing and yelling.
The victim told deputies he saw the man was armed with a pistol. He felt threatened by the man's behavior as well.
The man eventually left the store and got back into his car, but before he left the threatened to shoot the victim before driving off. He also pointed his gun at the victim.
The suspect is described as 6'0", 175 pounds, with short dark hair and several earrings in both ears. He was wearing a dark colored tank top, shorts, a belt with a large buckle and a Fedora hat.
He was driving a late model teal four-door Mazda sedan.
