TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - If you live on the northwest side, chances are you woke up this morning surrounded by a good amount of damage.
Beginning with a Safeway on Linda Vista and Thornydale that was closed as water damage companies like Servpro try to clean up a soggy store, thanks to a broken storm drain.
"There's a lot of ceiling panels caved in," Servpro Production Manager Steve Morgan told us, "[there's] moisture content not only in the floor but on the walls."
Crews also down the street at St. Elizabeth Ann Seaton where the rain ravaged a classroom.
But aside from the water damage, gusting wind split a power pole right in half and also knocked down a gigantic tree in the middle of a golf course.
