TUCSON (KGUN9-TV)- Love is working hard in Tucson.
Members of Tucson Baptist Temple are hitting the streets to show just how important love is-- with a new volunteer project called "Love Works."
Over 40 days, 450 church members fixed meals for the police and fire departments. They also wrote over 500 "thank you" letters to politicians for their public service.
And they're not done yet!
"We have no expectations. We are just thanking people and trying to demonstrate that we love them. We have an opportunity to thank the teachers at 16 public schools, and we will bring donuts and thank teachers for being teachers, " said Pastor Brent Armstrong.
And this week--church members even went to bus stops to deliver water bottles...spreading love!
