South Tucson PD search for shooting suspect
SOUTH TUCSON, Ariz. (KGUN9-TV) - Police in South Tucson have identified Robert Robinson, 29, as the man wanted in connection with a shooting on August 4.
Lt. Jeff Inorio with South Tucson police tells KGUN9 that at 3:30 p.m., officers responded to the 1800 Block of South 8th reference shots fired
When officer arrived on scene, they found a 32-year-old victim suffering from a gunshot wound to leg.
Detectives responded and interviewed several and have determined the victim and suspect knew each other and were outside arguing when the suspect fired several rounds from a small caliber handgun.
The victim then retrieved his own handgun and returned fire, said Inorio.
Anyone with information on Robinson's whereabouts is urged to call 911 or 88-CRIME.
Robinson should be considered armed and dangerous, said Inorio.
