"Recreational campfire" sparked blaze at an east side apartment complex

TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - An apartment fire broke out on the east side just after midnight.
It happened near the 3400 block of South Pantano, by Pantano and Stella.
The Tucson Fire Department told 9OYS the residents did not properly extinguish a recreational campfire in the backyard earlier in the night.
The fire reignited, and the flames spread to the apartment.
One of the residents rescued his brother while firefighters pulled three other people out a window.
Crews took one person to the hospital for smoke inhalation.
In total, 5 people, 2 dogs and a cat were left homeless by the blaze.
The Red Cross is stepping in to help.
