Public shaming too harsh of punishment?

By Liz Kotalik. CREATED Feb 24, 2014

TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - Parents know that social media can be tricky when it comes to teens, but one mother is showing us she has no patience when it comes to her daughter's inappropriate Facebook use.

She publicly shamed her 12-year-old on a YouTube video.

It all started when 12-year-old Lutisha posted onto Facebook about starting a fight. That fight wound up getting her suspended from school.
When her mom found out that it all began online, she decided to show her daughter how powerful the internet could be.
The video has nearly 1 million views on YouTube, and it's causing a debate among parents.
Is publicly shaming your daughter or son too harsh of a punishment?
