Police on scene at eastside elementary school investigating suicidal threat
TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - A man has made suicidal comments and threatened to carry out his suicidal plan outside of Booth-Fickett Elementary school.
Sgt. Maria Hawke with the Tucson Police Department says police officers are on scene assessing the situation.
She says a man threatened to commit suicide and indicated that he was going to pick up his children who attend Booth-Fickett Elementary.
Hawke says police believe the man may be armed.
Police are on scene as a precaution. KGUN 9 On Your Side has tried reaching out to the school. At this time, no one is answering.
