Police arrest man in connection with armed bank robbery
TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - Vincent Mark Cesare, 52, has been arrested by Tucson police in connection with an armed bank robbery on September 6.
Sgt. Maria Hawke with TPD tells KGUN9 that Cesare entered the U.S. Bank at 7685 East Broadway Blvd. with a gun. He pointed the gun at employees and customers, forcing them to the ground.
He then demanded money from a teller, and was given an unknown amount of money before leaving, said Hawke.
Thanks to numerous 88-CRIME tips, the suspect associated with this bank robbery was identified.
Police located Cesare on the evening of September 10.
Cesare was arrested and charged with two counts of armed robbery, five counts of aggravated assault and five counts of kidnapping.
