Police locate missing 79-year-old woman
TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - Police located a 79-year-old woman who went missing Thursday.
Sgt. Maria Hawke with Tucson Police tell KGUN9 that Mary Robinson went to a doctor's appointment with her husband in the 6300 block of East Tanque Verde at about 3:00 p.m.
She was found and is being treated before she is returned to her husband.
While her husband was in with the doctor, Robinson left the waiting room area. Her husband tried to find her but was unsuccessful.
Police have been searching for her since then but have also been unsuccessful.
She was diagnosed with Alzheimer's Disease so there is concern for her welfare.
He is described as a Caucasian female, 5'4'', weighing about 175 pounds with white hair. She also wears glasses to see.
She was last seen wearing a pink and red plaid shirt, tan pants and navy loafers.
She did not have her purse or wallet with her and did not have any money or identification.
She lives in the area of Grant Road and Campbell Avenue.
