TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - Officers arrested two men as suspects in a Domino's Pizza armed robbery.

Sgt. Chris Widmer with Tucson Police tells KGUN9 21-year-old Arthur Welsh and 20-year-old Matthew Cuff were both arrested in connection with this robbery.

Widmer says officers responded to the Domino's Pizza at 8045 S. Rita Rd. just before 11:45 p.m. Wednesday night.

Detectives learned that Welsh entered the business through an unlocked door as the employees were closing up.

Welsh had a handgun and demanded money from the employees.

Widmer says Cuff was outside the store when the robbery occurred. Both suspects fled on foot.

One of the victims from the store gave officers a description of a vehicle involved. Officers later found that car at Purple Heart Park.

Officers found the two suspects and detained them at the park.

Welsh was booked into jail on one count of Armed Robbery, one count of Aggravated Robbery and three counts of Kidnapping. Cuff was booked into jail on one count of Armed Robbery and one count of Aggravated Robbery.
