TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - Tucson police have arrested a man they believe to be connected to an armed robbery that occurred in May 2013.
Sgt. Chris Widmer with the Tucson Police Department tells KGUN9 that the armed robbery occurred on May 18 at a Circle K located in the 3100 block of East Speedway Blvd.
On Thursday, July 11, police received an 88-CRIME tip that identified 56-year-old Santos Sanchez-Fimbres as a possible suspect, Widmer said.
The next day, officers located Sanchez-Fimbres near Mission Road and Silverlake Road, and police took him into custody without incident, according to Widmer.
Sanchez-Fimbres was charged with one count of armed robbery and one count of aggravated assault, Widmer said.
