TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - Isabel Celis' parents did not mind seeing officers in their neighborhood again.
"Isa's picture is out there again and from what I understand it's nationwide so that has to bring something in," said her mother Becky Celis.
A re-canvassing effort by Tucson Police is set to wrap up Friday, as officers spent the last three days talking with neighbors again and reminding the public about the case.
"We just wanted everyone to know out there that if you have any information to please let us know because we're still working the case," said Sgt. Pete Dugan with Tucson Police.
Dugan says officers hoped to get new leads and in that sense, this week's work was a success.
"We have received a bunch more phone calls," he said. "There have been many more phone calls come in than over the last year or so."
Officers re-canvassed a half-mile radius around the Celis home near Broadway and Craycroft and visited nearly 400 houses.
Detectives will now sort through all the new information and follow up on anything that could help.
"Even the littlest piece of information... could be something large for us in conjunction with what we already have," said Dugan.
Dugan says depending on what new information officers detectives receive, officers could expand the search.
If anyone has information that can help this case, and help find Isabel Celis, call 911 or 88-CRIME.
