Pedestrian identified in fatal train collision
TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - A pedestrian was struck and killed by a train on Friday morning.
According to Tucson police Sgt. Chris Widmer, the pedestrian has been identified as 56-year-old Robert E. Cole.
Cole was apparently crossing the railroad tracks when he was struck by a westbound train.
The collision occurred near North 7th Avenue and West Seventh Street.
There will be no arrests or citations issued. No one on the train was injured.
