By Stella Inger. CREATED Jul 29, 2014

TUCSON (KGUN9-TV)-- While you've been looking for love online you've also been the subject of a massive digital experiment. In a post called "we experiment on human beings," OkCupid's founder is defending human experimentation and reminding users that tests like his site's  are both common and beneficial. He wrote,  "guess what, everybody, if you use the internet, you're the subject of hundreds of experiments--  at any given time, on every site."  Some of OkCupid's experiments?
Ideas like removing pictures from random profiles to see how it would affect user interactions, Also, trying to determine if there was a relation between how users scored each other on looks and personality. The reaction online has been mixed, some users claim to be upset, but many say they find the experiments interesting and even funny.
