NWS issues flood advisory for parts of Pima County
TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - A flood advisory is in effect for parts of Pima County.
The National Weather Service has issued a small stream flood advisory for west-central Pima County.
The advisory will remain in effect until at least 2:30 p.m. Saturday.
The NWS is noticing heavy rain along and east of the highway between Why, Ariz. and Organ Pipe National Monument.
The storms are moving northwest, towards Why and Ajo.
Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall could cause washes, streams and roadways to flood. Motorists should prepare to use caution.
