NWS issues flood advisory for Pima County
TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - The National Weather Service in Tucson has issued a flood advisory for parts of Pima County.
The NWS says a small stream flood advisory is in affect for northeastern Pima County and southeastern Pinal County.
The advisory will remain in affect until 2:00 p.m. Saturday.
The National Weather Service has also issued a flash flood warning for Pima County. This warning will remain in effect until 2:15 p.m.
Weather radar indicates that about an inch of rain has fallen over the Catalina Mountains.
Current rain, plus additional moisture could cause runoff in streams and washes, along with ponding.
Motorists and hikers should use caution in the area throughout Saturday afternoon.
