TUCSON (KGUN9-NEWS) - The suspected drug-related death of actor Philip Seymour Hoffman is bringing what some say is a Tucson heroin epidemic to light. Police say more teens and high school students are using heroin because it's cheaper and easier to get than prescription pain killers.
The group "There is no Hero in Heroin" is working to help parents understand the threat and providing tools to help them handle it. There is more information at: www.tinhihfoundation.org/
