More than one hundred actors auditioned for a movie role at Old Tucson

TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - You've gotta love those movie sequels --especially when they're filmed in Southern Arizona.

Old Tucson -- and Mescal -- are the locations of another classic western movie.

"We will not open this door. Our duty is protect the US Dept. Of Treasury." That's Colter Ray --- auditioning for the sequel -- "Hot Bath an' a Stiff Drink."

About 120 actors lined up -- this weekend -- to read -- for the director and casting crew. And with a $2 million dollar budget -- actors tells us -- they're relieved.

"It's very much needed. And we need more of it here."

"They used a lot of local vendors a lot of local people created a lot of work for a lot of people."

Filming for the movie will begin early November.
