PHOENIX (AP) - Authorities have arrested a 23-year-old man suspected of randomly shooting at Phoenix area homes to scare a teenager he is romantically involved with.

The Maricopa County Sheriff's Office says Daniel Alexander Rodriguez, who is also wanted in Florida for burglary and resisting arrest, was taken into custody Saturday for a drive-by shooting in Youngtown.

Deputies say Rodriguez fired at his 16-year-old girlfriend's home on Valentine's Day.

Authorities say the girl and her parents were home at the time.

They say Rodriguez also fired several 9mm rounds at a home Jan. 31 to scare the girl and recently shot at a home where she was staying.

Rodriguez is facing charges of kidnapping, aggravated assault, shooting at an occupied structure, weapon misconduct and identity theft.
