Man hit by car on Tucson's south-eastside

TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - A pedestrian has life threatening injuries after he was hit by a car Friday.
Sgt. Chris Widmer with the Tucson Police Department says a man was hit by a car in the 6000 block of east 22nd Street, just after 9:00 p.m. Friday.
Police say the man was transported to the hospital with life threatening injuries. The driver had a four door passenger car. He is cooperating with authorities.
Westbound 22nd Street at Wilmot Road will be closed for the next two hours.
