Man, dog attacked by bees

TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - A man and his dog were stung by bees multiple times on Monday morning.

Capt. Adam Goldberg with Northwest Fire tells KGUN9 that firefighters are responding to the scene in the 3500 block of West Amber Terrace.

A man was mowing his lawn when he aggravated a hive in a bougainvillea bush, said Goldberg.

The man suffered between 20-30 bee stings because of the incident. He chose to not be transported to the hospital by paramedics.

Goldberg said the condition of the dog is unknown at this time.
