Jimmy Kimmel tricks people of Los Angeles about SOTU

CREATED Jan. 30, 2014

TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - The State of the Union is arguably one of the President's most important speeches. But, are you really paying attention?

Jimmy Kimmel and his "Lie Witness News" team took to the streets of Los Angeles a day before the big speech, and asked people how it was!

Again...the SOTU had NOT happened yet. But still, people had their opinions.

"You know, it had different effects on different people. And, you know, I just feel those effects affect everybody."
When the Kimmel producer asked one man what he thought of the President's "weird tie", the man responded, "I mean, I support the weird tie. That's what I do. I support trying to be kinda like uh...trying to get different with the fashion. But yeah, it was kinda weird, but I support it, because I'm weird myself."
The producer then asked that man to describe the tie: "Something I would wear to bingo hall with my grandma to be funny."
"Lie Witness News" tricked tons of other people, too.
