CASA GRANDE, Ariz. (AP) - Hospital officials say the chief of surgery of the hospital in Casa Grande is among the three people killed in a suspicious house fire in Pinal County.
Casa Grande Regional Medical Center officials said in statement Saturday that 51-year-old Joyce Bonenberger, her husband, Dennis, and son Trevor were killed in the fire Friday.
Police and arson investigators are trying to determine the cause of the fire and authorities have not officially identified the Bonenbergers as the victims who were found in the aftermath of the blaze.
Medical examiners say they would use dental records to identify the bodies from the single-story home in the Desert Highlands subdivision northeast of Casa Grande.
The hospital says Joyce Bonenberger had been with Casa Grande Regional Medical Center since 1999 and had been its chief of surgery since 2004.
