LAS CRUCES, New Mex. (KGUN9-TV) -New Mexico State is now offering students cash incentives to attend – and stay at - games.
The Las Cruces Sun-News says so few students are attending home games, the University is now offering prizes of $2,000 and $250 and a VIP parking pass to student who are still at Saturday’s game against San Diego State in the fourth quarter.
In two home games this season, the Aggies are averaging 8,696 total fans. The Aggies have lost 15 consecutive games and have been outscored 201-62 this season.
