TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - Former Arizona U.S. Representative Rick Renzi wants to postpone the start of his three year prison sentence. Renzi has asked a judge to let him wait until January 13th to report to the lock-up.
Renzi's attorneys have asked for the one-week extension to give the judge a chance to rule on his request to remain free on bail while he appeals his convictions. Renzi was convicted of public corruption, money laundering and other charges.
