Mobile home fire intentionally set
TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - Crews put out a mobile home fire Wednesday that investigators say was intentionally set.
Capt. Barrett Baker with Tucson Fire tells KGUN9 that crews responded to 1171 W. Miracle Mile after several calls were made to 911.
Crews arrived on scene in three minutes and saw smoke and flames coming from the mobile home.
They were able to put out the fire in 10 minutes, but the home is considered a total loss.
A nearby mobile home suffered heat damage, and crews had to keep the fire from spreading to power lines.
The home was unoccupied at the time and it appears that no one lived there.
There were no injuries to residents of the park or to firefighters.
The cause is still under investigation, as well as who may have started the fire.
