"They shoved everybody out the doors, locked the doors and started taking things off the walls, taking the TVs down, carrying out liquor, food, kegs, bottles of beer and nobody would tell us anything. They turned off our computer system. We couldn't enter any of our credit card tips. It was unbelievable. I mean, we were all stunned," Bartender Avalon Lizarraras said. Lizarraras worked at the Tucson Mall location since it's opening in December 2012.

Calls to the bar and grill's corporate office in Phoenix were not returned.

The following is a statement from Brighid Brown, Marketing Manager for Tucson Mall:

"While we never like to see a tenant leave, we're always actively looking for the best retailers, restaurants and entertainment venues to enhance the shopping experience at Tucson Mall.  Stellar retailers, entertainment venues/events and great restaurants attract visitors to our center.  We are unable to comment on specifics regarding Toby Keith's lease, but we are looking forward to announcing new restaurants and retailers in the near future."
