Deputies arrest shooting suspect
The Pima County Sheriff's Department has made an arrest in connection with a shooting from Thursday morning.
TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - The Pima County Sheriff's Department has made an arrest in connection with a shooting that occurred Thursday morning.
Deputy Jesus Banuelos tells KGUN9 that deputies were called to the Tierra Vida Apartments located in the 1900 block of West Magee Road regarding a shooting around 2:00 a.m.
Deputies arrested 26-year-old Michael Albert Mesaros and charged him with two counts of attempted 2nd degree murder, possession of a weapon by a prohibited person, criminal damage and failure to appear warrant, according to Banuelos.
Mesaros shot three cars in the apartment complex parking lot, the apartment building and a deputy vehicle before being detained by deputies, Banuelos said.
No injuries were reported in this case.
