PIMA COUNTY, Ariz. (KGUN9-TV) - Crews rescued a family of 6 Saturday night after their off-roading vehicle broke down and caught fire.

Deputy Jesus Banuelos with the Pima County Sheriff's Department tells KGUN9 deputies responded to Redington Road near Chiva Falls after learning that the family needed help.

The vehicle they were in caught fire, and a 29-year-old woman sustained burns to her face and arms. No one else was injured.

Deputies met up with crews from the Rural Metro Fire Department but the family's location was difficult to access because of recent rain.

The PCSD Search and Rescue Unit responded and were able to find her and used a Life Net helicopter to get the woman to a hospital for treatment.

The rest of the family was safely taken out of the area.
