Car crashes through bank window in Douglas

DOUGLAS, Ariz. (KGUN9-TV) - No injuries were reported after a vehicle went through a bank window in Douglas.
Sgt. Jose Duarte tells KGUN9 that on August 29, officers were dispatched to the JP Morgan Chase Bank located at 940 G Avenue.
When officers arrived on scene, they found a vehicle had crashed through the front doors of the bank, said Duarte.
Detective have determine a Silver in color 2005 Chevy Aveo was at the intersection of 10th Street and G Avenue about to turn South.
A 56-year-old Douglas resident and a 56-year-old passenger told police another vehicle cut them off and the driver attempted to avoid an accident, turning right and driving onto the sidewalk and into the doors of the bank, said Duarte.
No injuries have been reported.
No citations have been issued. However, Douglas police are continuing with the investigation at this time.
