TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - Tucson Fire Department responded to a call around 12:30 p.m. Saturday for a man stung by a swarm of bees in the 5600 block of East Fairmount.

According to Tucson Fire Capt. Barrett Baker, when crews got on scene the man did not need medical attention and advised that his two dogs were being attacked by the swarm of bees.

Firefighters found both dogs unconscious and placed them in the back of the gentleman's vehicle to take them to a local veterinarian.

Both dogs have been declared dead, crews could not find a beehive near the incident.
