TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - Tucson Police arrested two suspects in a homicide earlier this month near the University of Arizona.

Sgt. Chris Widmer with TPD tells KGUN9 Wiley Michael Troy, 33 and Charlie Haney, 24 were arrested Thursday in West Covina, Calif.

Widmer says they are being held by the police department there while waiting to be extradited back to Tucson.

Widmer says officers responded to the 200 block of south Norris Avenue on September 16, that's near Broadway Boulevard and Campbell Avenue.

Officers found a 55-year-old man with serious injuries after a fight. That man died on September 21.

The suspects fled the scene before officers arrived. Officers determined that the victim and Troy were related.

Detectives found that the two suspects were living at the victim's home at the time.
