Authorities say light poles, guard rails stolen
PHOENIX (AP) - Yavapai County authorities are investigating the theft of an estimated $5,000 worth of aluminum light poles and bridge guard rail materials from an Arizona Department of Transportation storage yard.
The sheriff's office reports the theft occurred sometime between Friday and Monday off Highway 69 near Cordes Junction.
Authorities say the storage yard is surrounded by a barbed wire topped chain link fence, and there were no obvious signs of forced entry.
They're asking anyone with information about the thefts to contact the Yavapai County Sheriff's Office at (928) 771-3260.
Witnesses may also report information anonymously at (800) 932-3232.
