3 arrested in Ariz. protest on Syria
TEMPE, Ariz. (AP) - Officials say three people have been arrested in Tempe during a small protest against a possible U.S.-led attack on Syria.
Authorities say the three people were arrested Saturday evening as around 75 people gathering for a march.
Police say one person was arrested for blocking traffic, another for prior warrants and one for pulling a police horse's tail.
Protesters around the world took to the streets to protest Saturday for and against an attack on Syria amid allegations of chemical weapon use.
President Barack Obama announced he would seek congressional approval for such a move.
